About the Foundation

Established in 2015 under the guidance of the ASEAN+3 FETN Steering Committee. Aimed to serve as a mechanism to support collaborative activities of ASEAN+3 FETN through working with the Coordination Office.

Fostering network and partnerships in epidemiology through capacity building and collaboration.

We envision a collaborative network that fortifies and enhances epidemiological capacities through sharing knowledge, resources, and expertise. By fostering partnerships among countries, we aim to strengthen capabilities in public health surveillance and response to promote research and innovations, and to ensure timely and effective management of public health threats.

Goals

To create competent and resilient health workforce capacity that supports evidence-based decision-making and promotes well-being and health security of the people.

To support networks of field epidemiology training programs in ASEAN and partner countries through collaboration with development partners.

To mobilize funding and technical support for capacity building activities.
